Pipal Tree is dedicated to promoting climate resilience, rewilding, reforestation and education in Nepal, a country heavily impacted by climate change. One initiative is the urban forest project in Kathmandu, which demonstrates how collaboration can transform polluted areas into thriving ecosystems. This project empowers local communities, particularly those in vulnerable situations, to take an active role in restoring their environment, fostering a sense of pride and ownership.
Supporting Compassionate CommunitIES
ShelterBox provides emergency shelter, supplies, and training to communities rebuilding after disasters. The organisation helps regions like Gaza, Syria, Bangladesh and various African countries recover from floods, conflicts, earthquakes and droughts. Since its founding in 2000, it has assisted over 2.5 million people worldwide. The charity tailors aid to the needs of each disaster, offering items like tents, water filters and cooking sets to help families regain stability and to foster a global network of compassion.
