Finance & Reporting Administrator

Full Time / Permanent

Based in MBP's Skipton (UK) office / Hybrid working

This is not your ordinary Finance Administrator role! But it is an opportunity to grow your skills on internal control and business reporting whilst supporting the Controlling and Finance team. Join us as a Finance and Reporting Administrator and play a key role in presenting financial data and reports to the business.    

Your main tasks will be:

  • Supporting the Controlling and Finance department. 
  • Completing internal controls relating to purchase, sales and finance. 
  • Biannual reporting to key accounts. 
  • Weekly and monthly internal reporting and follow up. 

Who are you?

Meticulous and with strong attention to detail, you will be confident in producing regular reports, following up with colleagues on queries, sense checking figures, and have experience in booking supplier invoices. MBP is an international business so you will be a clear communicator with good cultural awareness. Proactive and with a can-do attitude, you will also be proficient in Excel and knowledge of Power BI. 

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Solid experience in an administrative role involving basic financial tasks. 
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficient in MS Office. 
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment. 
  • English proficiency at a minimum C1 level. 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working with ERP systems. 
  • Able to make recommendations in process improvement.
