Key Account Manager - Industrial Food Processing

Remote working based from home office in Idaho or Utah

We’re on a mission to drive innovation and sustainability in the agriculture and animal feed industries, and we’re looking for a dedicated professional to help us source and sell by-products from industrial food processors.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary account manager for industrial food processing clients in the Midwest. 
  • Drive sales of by-products from food processing, focusing on potato, onion, and oat beverage streams. 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers and suppliers. 
  • Analyze and address customer needs within the animal feed sector and beyond. 
  • Generate sales leads through cold calling and networking with farmers, feedlots, and animal feed users. 
  • Collaborate with clients to implement effective by-product management solutions. 
  • Oversee third-party service providers to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions. 
  • Support the selling of MBP services and participate in product evaluations and business case development. 
  • Contribute to the planning of sales and sourcing activities in the U.S. 

Who you are:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field, combined with strong sales and marketing experience in agriculture or the animal feed industry. 
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build professional relationships at all levels. 
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset, eager to share knowledge and ideas. 

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems. 
  • Experience in product development. 
  • Knowledge of poultry, pig, dairy, or aquaculture production.
