Key Account Manager - Industrial Food Processing

We’re on a mission to drive innovation and sustainability in the agriculture and animal feed industries, and we’re looking for a dedicated professional to help us source and sell by-products from industrial food processors.

Your key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary account manager for industrial food processing clients in the Midwest.
- Drive sales of by-products from food processing, focusing on potato, onion, and oat beverage streams.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers and suppliers.
- Analyze and address customer needs within the animal feed sector and beyond.
- Generate sales leads through cold calling and networking with farmers, feedlots, and animal feed users.
- Collaborate with clients to implement effective by-product management solutions.
- Oversee third-party service providers to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions.
- Support the selling of MBP services and participate in product evaluations and business case development.
- Contribute to the planning of sales and sourcing activities in the U.S.
Who you are:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field, combined with strong sales and marketing experience in agriculture or the animal feed industry.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
- A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset, eager to share knowledge and ideas.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Experience in product development.
- Knowledge of poultry, pig, dairy, or aquaculture production.
