Quality Assurance Officer

Full Time / Permanent

Based in MBP's Skipton (UK) or Gouda (NL) office / Hybrid working

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Officer working in the service-sector? Do you have Quality Management System experience and speak business-level English? This is a great opportunity to join a busy Quality and Sustainability global team with exposure to a variety of our standards and systems (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISCC and RSB EU RED).    

Your main tasks will be:

  • Sustainability documentation – inspect and validate incoming sustainability documentation across ISCC EU and RSB EU RED certifications to ensure compliance, as well as inspecting non-sustainable documentation. 
  • Internal and external audits – support and/or participate in all internal and external audits including ISCC EU Supplier Audits, MBP internal audits, Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety audits. 
  • Data – work with the Quality team to collate data and report on Quality and Environmental objectives. Data entry and document filing across MBP’s electronic systems. Complete quality checks across the ERP and SharePoint systems.  

Who are you?

This role requires someone with a logical and professional approach, able to communicate well with all levels of the business and possesses strong attention to detail to ensure compliance. The ideal candidate should excel within a team but also independently and have willingness to learn new systems and processes.  The role will involve European travel approximately twice per month. 

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001. 
  • Quality assurance experience in a service environment. 
  • Experience with supporting internal and external audits. 
  • Strong attention to detail to support compliance and improve the Quality Management System within the MBP Group. 
  • Proactive approach to enforce Quality Control to drive business improvements. 
  • Positive approach and good communication skills, working with all areas of the business. 
  • Ability to problem solve and a willingness to learn new standards and how to adapt within the business. 
  • Strong organisation skills. 
  • Excellent computer literacy skills and the ability to runs statistical reports. 
  • English proficiency at a minimum C1 level.
