Sales Operations Analyst

Based in MBP's office in Skipton, UK or Gouda, NL / Hybrid working

As a Sales Operations Analyst at MBP, your mission is to deliver comprehensive sales, financial, and sustainability reports to our management team, empowering them to achieve both tactical and long-term goals.
Your main tasks will be:
- Analyse data and create insightful visualizations and dashboards to deliver monthly sales reports, KPI analyses and forecasts for the sales team, business meetings, and senior managers.
- Collaborate with the Quality Team to support Sustainability reporting and provide ad hoc analyses.
- Work closely with the Accounting and Controlling team to drive proactive management reporting and analysis.
- Maintain and optimize our data warehouse, implementing necessary changes.
- Develop data models and reports in BI tools to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Manage the catalogue of business reports, ensuring availability and accuracy.
- Provide helpdesk support for report writers, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Who are you?
You are an experienced professional in data and sales analytics, adept at KPI reporting and operations management. You possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Proven experience in developing scorecards and dashboards for senior leaders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from financial and sales data.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in SQL for data retrieval.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI, Jet Reports, and PowerQuery (DAX).
- Understanding of Data Warehousing and OLAP Cubes.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English at business level.
