Are you a technically-minded professional with a passion for sustainability and a keen interest in biofuels, animal feed, soil improvement, or biogas? Do you have experience with customs, tariff codes, and regulatory compliance? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are global experts in by-products and their application. We turn one industry’s by-products into another industry’s raw materials. We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to support our international sales team. In this role, you will collaborate with Application Experts and Business Coordinators to drive the development, documentation, innovation and marketing of sustainable by-products.
Your main tasks will be:
- Product Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and update Product Data Sheets and Material Safety Data Sheets, ensuring regulatory compliance across all markets.
- Sourcing & Data Management: Develop and maintain sourcing references and manage product data within our ERP system.
- Regulatory Expertise: Oversee TARIC and HS classification, ensuring accurate product categorization and compliance with customs and excise requirements.
- Market & Technical Monitoring: Track market-specific technical developments and ensure our products meet all relevant specifications.
- Waste Legislation & Transport: Assist with compliance for EU and international waste legislation and transport.
- Marketing & Communication: Create and maintain marketing materials and presentations for global sales activities.
- Product Development: Lead or support product development projects, including trials and research collaborations.
- Reporting: Collate and report on regulatory and compliance data.
Who are you?
Essential Skills:
- Degree in environmental or chemical engineering, or a strong technical/natural sciences background.
- Experience in product management, regulatory compliance, or technical support within biofuels, soil improvement, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of customs, tariff codes, and international regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, minimum B2.
- Passion for sustainability and innovative solutions for by-products and wastes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective at all levels.
- Proficient in M365 and experienced in using SharePoint.
Desirable Skills:
- International B2B experience.
- Additional European language skills.
- Knowledge of freight, logistics, and international transportation.
- Experience with EU regulations (REACH, Food and Feed directives).
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
