Supply Chain Planner and Controller

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Supply Chain Planner and Controller (SCPaC) to join our team in Gouda, Netherlands. The role is to support and improve the planning of the on-time transport for contracted purchase and sales trading volumes, and continuous control of the logistic services costs and associated documentation related to the third-party transports carried out in the MBP Group.

MBP Solutions was founded in 1999 and specialises in adding value to biological by-products through unique know-how regarding product applications, sustainability, sales and marketing, legal compliance and supply chain management. 

With a focus on the utilisation of the resources in biological by-products, MBP Solutions has developed a unique service called OMBP (Outsourced Management of By-Products) where by-products and wastes from 33 different factories in Europe and North America are managed in a sustainable way.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Maintain and build relationships with the commercial team in the assigned geographic areas 
  • Ensure correct logistic data collection for agreed KPIs in SC dashboard, analysis and reporting on the weekly and monthly basis  
  • Control and support that must documentation are in place: CMR for sustainable material loads and invoices  
  • SCPaC is expected to help HSC to identify and digitalize current logistic processes.

Additional Responsibilities   

  • Support HSC and lead partially supply chain related projects    
  • BCentral Process Stakeholder – To assist the process champion with input into the process or work area, specifically:  
  • To participate in the discovery sessions   
  • To represent end user views when speaking to the process champion    
  • To assist with the Functional Design Documents, sign off (specifications)   
  • To be the creator of test plans and test data for implementation or change processes   
  • To assist with organising and facilitating of process training and adoption   
  • To assist Process Champion with non-standard changes. 
  • To be the cover in the event of a significant absence or another stakeholder leaving  

We are looking for someone who:

  • Previous experienced within logistics 
  • Used to working with analyses, statistics and data 
  • Well versed in relevant Microsoft IT programmes 
  • Experience of building relationships across all levels and areas of the business along with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. 
  • Written and verbal English language skills at business level 

Your Demonstrable Skills / Profile:

We are looking for someone with the following essential experience or qualifications(please only apply if you can demonstrate your experience, by providing on the job or education examples): 

  • Previous experienced within logistics 
  • Used to working with analyses, statistics and data 
  • Well versed in relevant Microsoft IT programmes

Desirable experience or qualifications:  

  • Experience working in an international business/ company 
  • Continuous improvement / Lean / Six Sigma
