MBP Solutions Earns Planet Market Certification for Second Year, Reducing Carbon Footprint by More Than 5%
MBP Solutions earned Planet Mark Certification for the second year in a row. This award shows our strong commitment to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint. We reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions per employee by 7.5% compared to last year. This result exceeded our original target of 5%.
Understanding our Carbon Footprint
In 2023, MBP Solutions reported a total carbon footprint of 929.82 tCO₂e. For 2024, the footprint increased to 1,149.4 tCO₂e, reflecting the expansion of our measurement boundary. Our emission sources increased with the addition of Rasmix Oy, our site in Finland, to the organisational boundary.
Despite this increased measurement of group-wide total emissions, our carbon footprint per employee decreased slightly from 9.1 tCO₂e in 2023 to 9.0 tCO₂e in 2024, showing improved efficiency and emission reductions on a per-person basis.
