Current Vacancies at MBP Solutions
Technical Operations Manager
MBP Solutions turns biological by-products into sustainable resources. Through the Clean Bio-Oils project, we are building a new terminal in Cuijk to receive, store and handle bio-oils for use in more sustainable applications. All permits are approved, and we are ready to start construction.
You will help turn the design into a working terminal—coordinating construction, commissioning and start-up—then take ownership of the site’s day-to-day operation and lead a small team of operators.
What you will do
- Coordinate with the Terminal Director, Group Engineer, suppliers and contractors to move the terminal from construction into commissioning.
- Drive operational readiness, including technical reviews, supplier and on-site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), HAZOP safety review, commissioning plans, system testing and start-up.
- Set up the operating model, procedures, maintenance approach and performance routines for the new site.
- Recruit, train and lead two operators, establishing clear expectations and effective ways of working.
- Once operational, lead production, loading, storage, maintenance, compliance and continuous improvement, with responsibility for the site’s results.
What you will bring
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, practical experience in a process or industrial environment, and fluent Dutch and English (C1). You may have worked in commissioning, start-up, process improvement, maintenance or operations and now want broader responsibility. Experience with automation or process-control systems is valuable. You do not need to have run a complete site before.
What you will gain
Working in a business focused on sustainability, this is a rare chance to build a new industrial facility and then lead the operation you helped create, with support from experienced colleagues and specialist partners. You will gain broad experience across commissioning, production, maintenance and people leadership. Basic Salary: c. €70,000.
