Technical Operations Manager

Full Time / 12 month contract (with option of becoming permanent)
Based at our Cuijk, Netherlands site

We’ve building a brand new bio-oils terminal. Want to be part of it? 

We’re MBP Solutions—a global leader in turning biological by-products into sustainable resources. We’re expanding, and our new Clean Bio-Oils terminal in Cuijk (NL) needs a strong, hands-on Technical Operations Manager to lead it from construction through to fully operational excellence. 

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up. 

What You’ll Lead 

During construction & commissioning, you will: 

  • Oversee technical documentation, HAZOPs & safety reviews 
  • Coordinate suppliers, FAT/SAT testing & site readiness 
  • Build the operating framework: SOPs, permit-to-work, emergency response 
  • Define maintenance strategies & set up the laboratory 
  • Recruit, train & develop the operators 
  • Lead commissioning & start-up activities 

Once operational, you will: 

  • Act as the site’s day-to-day operational leader 
  • Manage production, control room, loading & storage activities 
  • Ensure safety, environmental & regulatory compliance 
  • Oversee maintenance & asset integrity 
  • Investigate incidents & drive continuous improvement 
  • Monitor & improve KPIs (safety, uptime, yield, cost) 
  • Work closely with the Terminal Director to deliver operational strategy 

Who are you? 

With a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, you’ve been involved in commissioning or operating terminals, storage, or process facilities. You’re skilled in managing teams, safety leadership, problem solving and operations management. You have strong knowledge of automation, control philosophy & process control systems and you’re fluent in both Dutch & English (C1).

Key Account Manager – Industrial Food Processors

Full Time / Permanent / Exempt Position
Based remotely from home office in Northern Utah, US

Are you a sales champion with agricultural expertise? If so, you could be our next Key Account Manager at MBP! We’re on a mission to drive innovation and sustainability in the agriculture and animal feed industries, and we’re looking for a dedicated professional to help us source and sell by-products from industrial food processors.

Your Key Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as the primary account manager for industrial food processing clients in the US.  
  • Drive sales of by-products from industrial food processing.  
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers and suppliers.  
  • Analyze and address customer needs within the animal feed sector and beyond.  
  • Generate sales leads through cold calling and networking with farmers, feedlots, and animal feed users.  
  • Collaborate with food producing companies to develop improved by-product management solutions.  
  • Oversee third-party service providers to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions.  
  • Support the selling of MBP services and participate in product evaluations and business case development.  
  • Contribute to the planning of sales and sourcing activities in the U.S.  

Who You Are:  

We’re looking for someone with:  

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Nutrition or a related field, combined with strong sales and marketing experience in agriculture or the animal feed industry.  
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build professional relationships at all levels.  
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset, eager to share knowledge and ideas.  

Bonus Skills:  

  • Familiarity with CRM systems.  
  • Experience in product development.  
  • Knowledge of poultry, pig, cattle and other livestock farming.
