Administrative and Marketing Assistant (Part-time 50%)

MBP Solutions is part of the green economy, recycling by-products from the food and oleo-chemical industry, which we market and sell as bio fuel, animal feed and fertilizer as well as for technical use.

We are specialized in optimizing the value of biological oil by-products and add value through unique know how regarding customer needs, product applications, production processes, regulatory requirements and logistics solutions. Job description:

The Administrative and Marketing Assistant will support the Executive Assistant and Marketing Manager in administrative and marketing tasks. The position is based in our offices in Neuchatel, Switzerland.

Your main tasks will be: 

• General administrative support and office management 

• Day-to-day administrative duties including preliminary draft of correspondence, filing, reporting, translations and other general office administration tasks 

• Travel management, registration to conferences, bookings and research for MBP events 

• Manage and update internal databases

• Prepare reports and other documents as requested

 

• Prepare reports and other documents as requested 

• Assist and independently draft marketing materials 

• Prepare and manage distributions lists and send out newsletters and other marketing materials 

• Prepare draft presentations for internal and external meetings 

• Attending meetings when required, including preparation of documents and minutes 

• Undertaking market research and ad hoc tasks when required

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experienced in office coordination and document preparation and handling 

• Strong computer skills and experience with using and creating MS Office documents and spreadsheets

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Fluent in English and French. French is an asset 

• Other language skills would be advantageous

• A self starter, a talent for organisation, proactive with ability to work on own initiative in a structured manner to deal with multiple duties and dead lines 

• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must

• Intelligent, fast learner and welcoming to any new task 

 

• Flexible attitude and service minded internally and externally 

• Computer literate and comfortable using MS Office applications (Excel essential)

• Team-work spirit

 

From January 2019, it is expected for the Administrative and Marketing Assistant role to be full-time (100%).
