By-products Solutions Consultant (Part or Full-Time) – United States

MBP Solutions is growing and we are looking to recruit to a newly created position of By-products Solutions Consultant.

This person will join our team of international specialists and work remotely or preferably out of our three person office in Minneapolis, Minnesota with the following tasks: 

• Provide technical application expertise for the use of by-products within bio heating oil, biodiesel feedstock, other technical applications or animal feed

• Identify and develop relations to companies with by-products within one or more of the following industries: oleochemicals, nutritional supplements, vegetable oil, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals or biodiesel

 

• Manage by-products solutions for one or more North American clients including application development, marketing and sales, logistics, legal compliance and management reporting

• Report to the North America Business Manager and become part of our international team of sales managers and application experts

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (15+ years) from vegetable or fish oil refining, rendering, oleochemicals or biodiesel manufacturing 

• Technical / engineering background preferably in combination with sales experience 

• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to build professional relationships 

• Computer literate and comfortable using MS Office applications

• Structured, efficient, work well with multiple duties and deadlines 

• Independent, proactive and open to travel in North America 

• Have a knowledge sharing attitude with a desire to participate in exchange of ideas and solutions with MBP colleagues globally

• Position can be part time and we are open to candidates, who may want to create a bridge between full-time work and retirement
