Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sustainability Leadership

• Identify and drive sustainable business initiatives that transform industrial by-products and waste into valuable resources.
• Design and implement solutions to minimize environmental impact, reduce waste, and optimize resource usage.
• Enhance ESG performance by leading sustainable projects, adopting new technologies, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and international colleagues to promote and implement sustainable practices.
• Develop advanced waste management systems for industrial processes and treatment plants.

Account & Project Management

• Manage and service existing accounts in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
• Coordinate international trading operations with our Asia Business Developer.
• Oversee contracts, logistics, and documentation with national and international teams.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
• Propose and lead innovative business plans and projects.
• Ensure product quality through sample management, lab coordination, and analysis.
• Plan, lead, and manage sustainable projects and initiatives.
• Conduct energy audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian and international regulations.
• Develop reports, presentations, and proposals for sustainability initiatives.
• Set and achieve organizational sustainability targets.
• Handle licensing, compliance, and administration for relevant authorities.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years’ commercial experience in sustainability, palm oil biomass, or waste-to-wealth projects (preferred).
• Fresh Graduate is encouraged to apply.
• Position offered will be judged based on experience, skills and knowledge.
• Start-up experience and a proactive, responsible mindset are advantageous.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally and internationally.
• Experience in palm biomass, by-products trading, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
• Passion for sustainability and making a difference.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Are you a sales champion with agricultural expertise? If so, you could be our next Key Account Manager at MBP! We’re on a mission to drive innovation and sustainability in the agriculture and animal feed industries, and we’re looking for a dedicated professional to help us source and sell by-products from industrial food processors.

Your Key Responsibilities:  

• Serve as the primary account manager for industrial food processing clients in the US.  

• Drive sales of by-products from industrial food processing.  

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers and suppliers.  

• Analyze and address customer needs within the animal feed sector and beyond.  

• Generate sales leads through cold calling and networking with farmers, feedlots, and animal feed users.  

• Collaborate with food producing companies to develop improved by-product management solutions.  

• Oversee third-party service providers to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions.  

• Support the selling of MBP services and participate in product evaluations and business case development.  

• Contribute to the planning of sales and sourcing activities in the U.S.  

Who You Are:  

We’re looking for someone with:  

• A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Nutrition or a related field, combined with strong sales and marketing experience in agriculture or the animal feed industry.  

• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build professional relationships at all levels.  

• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset, eager to share knowledge and ideas.  

Bonus Skills:  

• Familiarity with CRM systems.  

• Experience in product development.  

• Knowledge of poultry, pig, cattle and other livestock farming.
