Financial Analyst

Full Time / Permanent

Based in MBP's office in the UK / Hybrid working

Are you an accomplished management accountant with a flair for financial reporting and data analysis?  We are looking for someone who has commercial knowledge and hands-on experience to join our growing finance team and help us to provide imperative data to the wider business. Working within the Controlling and Reporting Team, you will complete weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks to ensure accurate business data. 

Your main tasks will be:

  • Group reporting and analysis using existing methods and creating new reports using data modelling, Jet reports, Power BI dashboards, working to tasks in the reporting planner. 
  • Working in the Controlling and Reporting team to proactively drive management reporting, analysis/variant analysis. 
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly controls allocated in the Internal Control system relating to financial, purchase and sales data. 
  • Monthly booking of key account invoices and twice annual key account reports. 

Who are you?

With proven experience in a comparable role, you possess a methodical approach and an impeccable attention to detail. You are able to work independently or in a collaborative setting. 

 You must also have: 

  • Part-qualified CIMA or ACA or equivalent. 
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of financial analysis and reporting. 
  • Ability to produce financial reports with visual aids and present in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Ability to derive useful insight from MI/financial information, formulating an understanding of problems, developing solutions and following these through to implementation. 
  • Advanced Excel skills. 
  • Business level English language skills.  

It is desirable that you have: 

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar. 
  • Worked with Jet reporting and data warehouse.
