MBP Solutions Achieves Planet Mark Certification and Delivers Major Carbon Emissions Reduction
MBP Solutions is proud to announce that we have achieved Planet Mark Certification for our 2025 carbon footprint, marking another important milestone in our sustainability journey.
The certification confirms a significant reduction in our operational greenhouse gas emissions, with Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions decreasing by 67.6% compared to 2024. This achievement reflects the commitment of our teams across the business and reinforces our ambition to drive measurable environmental improvements throughout our global operations.
A Significant Step Forward
Our total measured carbon footprint for 2025 was 482.2 tCO₂e, a substantial decrease from 1,149.4 tCO₂e in 2024.
Several factors contributed to this result:
- The introduction of certified renewable electricity at our Greåker facility.
- More accurate, location-specific calculations of emissions associated with steam use at the Greåker site.
- Approximately 13% lower fuel consumption across all MBP Solutions sites compared with 2024.
Together, these improvements delivered a larger-than-anticipated reduction in our overall greenhouse gas emissions footprint.

- Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction compared with 2024: 67.6%

Our certified carbon footprint assessment covers 12 sites worldwide: Greåker, Grenaa, Copenhagen, Gouda, Los Angeles, Minnesota, Neuchâtel, Silkeborg, Skipton, Staffanstorp, Sveprol and Riihimäki.
