MBP Solutions Attends MVO Academy’s Course about Oils and Fats in the Supply Chain

At MBP Solutions, we are continuously learning and developing what we do and how we operate in order to improve and enhance every aspect of our business.

MVO (The Netherlands Oils and Fats Industry) represents the companies in the oils and fats industry in the Netherlands, one of the main agribusiness sectors in the Netherlands. They are dedicated to supporting a sustainable and internationally competitive supply and distribution chain. Within MVO Academy, they aim to disseminate knowledge about oils and fats and thus contribute to a dialogue between the supply chain actors, partners and stakeholders.

In May 2021, three delegates from MBP Solutions completed the course organized by MVO Academy.

The course gave an update on all relevant aspects of the oils and fats supply chain. It dealt with sourcing, production, processing, logistics, chemistry and applications. It also highlighted the important nutritional aspects, safety, HACCP principles, legislation and sustainability elements.

The broad overview provided by this course ensures good knowledge about oils and fats, the different stages that they go through, the important contaminants that can enter the supply chains and the current developments related to oils and fats.

MBP Solutions was founded in 1999 and specializes in adding value to biological by-products through unique know-how regarding product applications, sustainability, sales and marketing, legal compliance and supply chain management.
