After investing in a separator machine that can unpack drink cartons so that liquids are separated from the packing materials, MBP Solutions now has the ability to reuse and recycle packaged products.
The local solutions has a number of sustainable advantages:
• it is a local solution, which minimizes transportation
• it ensures that liquids are used for animal feed, which is high on the waste hierarchy
• packaging material is consolidated and recycled as well
This type of solution is also improving the feed quality.
When applied directly at the farm, it will secure a high level of freshness and feed hygiene (so products can go to animal feed instead of biogas or bioenergy production, due to the short shelf life).
