Maria Svantesson, Chief Nutritionist – MBP Solutions, will speak about the sustainable raw material for fish feed at the International Conference on Aquaculture, 4-6 June 2018, Copenhagen.

Sustainability is a hot topic in the aquaculture industry and circular economy is important for the entire society. Raw materials with marine origin into aqua feed are getting scarce and the industry is eager to find new sources of raw materials that do not affect the ecology of the seas and minimize over fishing. MBP Solutions has successfully found improved application for different fish oil fractions from the omega 3 industry. The oils are excellent aqua feed ingredients that can be used in exchange of crude fish oil from wild catch. The oils have a high nutritional value and are highly sustainable as well.
